Keeping you up-to-date with the DRG family


We’re excited to kick off the new year with two new senior appointments at DRG. James Mellor has joined us as Business Director following 4 years at integrated below the line agency Blue Chip Marketing, and Ben Ireson has followed suit joining from existing partners Drayton Manor Park and Merlin Entertainments as our Head of Partnerships.

When we asked what it was that appealed to them both about DRG, James said ‘DRG has seen some fantastic growth as a business over the past 5 years, and having worked with them on one of Blue Chip’s biggest ever campaigns it was a no-brainer to join the business when the opportunity arose.’

Ben added, having worked on many theme park and attraction projects with the business over the last 5 years it was great to see the benefits of securing footfall and commercial results through their unique membership. The business ethos, its people and future plans inspired me, and the rest is history as they say! I’m looking forward to strengthening our strategic partnerships and offering support and advice in the field.

In their spare time, you’ll find James at Altrincham Markets or running various endurance events and Ben often directing a local musical such as ‘Shrek’ this May in Cheshire or performing in murder mysteries across the UK. If you see them do say hello!
